How to set the machine 24/7 working home?

Turn on the machine without any time set on the machine; the machine will work 24/7 continuously.

How to use the humidifying tube?

When the air is dry, fill half of tube with distilled water or cold water, then use it before connecting the tube with the machine and oxygen pipe. If the air is not dry, it is no need to use the humidifying tube.

How to confirm when is the battery charged full?

You can check the light indicator on the battery, if four light are on, it means the battery capacity is full.

Usually it cost 5-6 hours to charge the battery to be full.

Why the machine works off and on?

The battery can last 1.8-7 hours when it is in full condition, 5 minutes before the machine stops work, the machine will work on and off, this set reminds you back to house or car to keep oxygen supply. If the time is not enough, you can get extra battery for backup.

Can the machine be used when charging?

No, it is bad for the machine and the battery, so do not try to use the machine when charging.

How long to change the medical bacterial filter?

It is no need to change and wash the filter in 3000 hours’ working. One extra filter is matched free for accident of pollution on the filter. After 3000 hours using, please take off the filter and burn it to protect the environment, the filter will burn into CO2 and water environmental friendly.

What is the difference between continuous flow and pulse flow?

Pulse Dose (PD) is based on breathing and inhaling, whereas Continuous Flow (CF), as its name implies, is delivered at a constant rate indiscriminate of the user’s breathing.

Continuous flow offers the oxygen all the time, not matter you breathe or not. It is much more suitable for the patients with weak breahe and it is the better choice for oxygen therapy during the night.

Three Key Criteria for choose portable oxygen concentrator:

Criteria A: Portable oxygen concentrator must have bigger flow than our requirements. If doctor prescribe 2 l/min. We must choose a device which should provide 3 liters flow at least. We will need more oxygen when we stand up and walk. When emergency happen, we also need more oxygen than usual. We must take it into consideration.

Criteria B: Portable oxygen device must produce 90% saturation oxygen at flow you required. Doctors don’t write oxygen purity in prescription. Doctors prescribe oxygen dose according to oxygen therapy we received in hospital. Hospitals standard is above 90% purity oxygen.

For example: If doctor prescribe 2LPM for us, we need to make confirmation that portable oxygen concentrator could produce above 90% oxygen at 2 liters. This is lowest standard. If device could provide 90% oxygen above 2 liters, that will be better.

There are some devices designed for pregnant use and sport use. They don’t need to meet medical grade. These devices just provide 93% oxygen at 1 liters. When you turn up flow, oxygen saturation will decrease to 70% at 2 liters, 60% at 3 liters, 40% at 5 liters. There is one type small oxygen concentrator just produce 30% oxygen at 1 to 3 liters flow. Please don’t get confused by these devices. Insufficient oxygen will worsen illness and be harmful to our health)

Criteria C: Portable oxygen concentrator must have low oxygen alarm to monitor oxygen purity. Low oxygen alarm activate when oxygen purity decrease to less than 82%. If alarm activate, we can call Lovego service station to check machine.
